1. Jesus’ Words about Sacrifice 24th April 2022
At 4am on the 25th April, 1915 the Anzacs landed at Gallipoli in Turkey. After 8 grueling months they withdrew, leaving behind 8,000 dead and 19,000 wounded. 107 years on we don’t remember the defeat but the sacrifice of those young men. In this sermon we’re going to reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus, how he gave up his divine glory, and his life in order to save sinners like you and me.
