1. Renew Your Promises Joshua 24:1-33 3rd January 2021
As we begin a new year, we can learn some important principles from the Old Testament leader Joshua, who led God’s people into the Promised Land. Like they crossed the Jordan, so we’ve crossed into a new year. And like they renewed their commitment to God so this Sunday we’re going to renew our commitment to Jesus. Listen to this sermon to review the past, renew our piety, to remember our promises, and to recommit to remaining on the path.
2. Taking a Stand Against Evil Ephesians 6:10-18 19th September 2021
In the last year we’ve faced all sorts of extreme challenges as we battle with coronavirus. But this Sunday we want to remember two things. Firstly, that many people face daily circumstances much worse than coronavirus, and that coronavirus has made many of those things much worse. This Sunday God is calling us to stand against evil in our world, against slavery, oppression, and injustice. God is calling us to join him in that battle, and he provides us with the armour we need. Come along and hear about the amazing work that International Justice Mission (IJM) does around the world.
